MEET INFORMATION

Entry Fees:

 

$95.00 per athlete.

- includes theme/water park five-day pass valid through Labor Day 2024 and a participant gift

 

Payment Due:

Monday, April 1st, 2024.

 

Refunds:

No refunds after Monday, April 8th, 2024.

 

Unless the gymnast did not qualify for Districts.

Late Fee: $10.00

 

Levels:

WAG (All AAU National Levels both Youth & Adult), Boys 4x4 and TNT

 

Adult Division/Special Stars/ Co-Ed

Eligibility: 

  • AAU membership is required

  • Gymnasts must be 4 years old
     

Qualification:

  • All participants must compete in their AAU District/State Championship to be eligible to participate.

    • Qualification to District/State Championships is determined by each District.  Refer to your District webpage for qualification information 

    • Find a District Near You

    • Gymnasts must compete at the same level which they competed in at their qualifying events in their designated districts. 

    • Clubs have the option of selecting which Regional Championship location they wish to attend.

Petitioning:

  • Athletes may petition to participate if there is not an active AAU District program in your area.  

Rules: 

  • AAU Regional licensed events follow the AAU National Gymnastics Rule Allowances (add link to redirect them to the National Rule Allowances worksheet​

If an athlete is unable to participate in their District/State Championship, or if a skill level is not offered, coaches must petition through their District Gymnastics Chair

Age Groups:

  • Athletes in each level will be divided into groups of similar age determined by birthdate, not to exceed more than *24 months 

  • Numbers per age division are not to exceed *15 athletes

       * indicates unless otherwise approved by the AAU National
        Executive Committee

Awards:

  • All-around awards are provided at 100% for every participant.

  • Individual event awards for each level and age group are provided for each session at 50% plus 1 medal distribution.

  • All-American Award recognition is awarded to the gymnast with the highest All-Around score in each session, for each level, regardless of age.

  • Regional Team Member Recognition is determined by the top 3 scores in each event in each session of each level in that session, regardless of age or District affiliation.  These athletes will be named a Regional Team Member and receive an AAU Regional Team Member Pin and/or certificate of recognition.  (Placement ties will be broken).

Judges:

  • AAU contracts credentialed officials through the National Association of Women’s Gymnastics Judges.

  • 2 judge panels are assigned.

AAU SANCTIONED EVENT

This event is sanctioned by the Amateur Athletic Union of the U. S., Inc. All participants must have a current AAU membership. AAU membership may not be included as part of the entry fee to the event. AAU membership must be obtained before the competition begins except where the event operator has a laptop available with an Internet connect. Participants are encouraged to visit the AAU web site www.aausports.org to obtain their membership
